Lime joins World Economic Forum’s ‘Mission Possible Partnership’ commitment to zero emissions international shipping
On our path to net zero emissions, we continually look throughout the business to find ways to cut our carbon impacts wherever we can. We’ve found a new one: zero emissions trucking.
When we think about the entire process of getting a new e-scooter or e-bike to one of the more than 280 markets we serve, we have to think about the upstream logistics impacts of that journey– and eventually fully decarbonizing it.
We’re pleased to announce a new partnership with California trucking company Hight Logistics, which will use electric trucks to provide zero emissions port transportation for hauling Lime’s vehicles and parts to our logistics hubs. Forum Mobility, a leading zero-emission electric truck and charging company, is providing the electric trucks and charging to Hight Logistics.
