Hight is an asset-based carrier working the Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach. The yard is ours, fenced and gated and watched. So are the chassis, the drivers and the dispatch.

That matters on the days the plan breaks. When a terminal appointment moves, when a box has to sit somewhere secure overnight, when a driver needs equipment at four in the morning, the answer does not depend on a third party picking up the phone.

Inland, we run into Arizona, Nevada and Utah on the same terms. We also cover drayage at the Port of Oakland and the Port of New York and New Jersey — the full footprint.

Running electric drayage is not a matter of buying trucks. It is a planning problem. Every load is built around the terminal appointment, the destination, the state of charge and the return leg, and it only works when charging sits on the same yard as dispatch.

That is what Hight built. Charging in the yard, dispatch in the same building, drivers who have run these trucks for years rather than weeks.

For a shipper it means zero-emission moves on qualified Los Angeles and Long Beach lanes, with reporting you can hand to your own sustainability team.

If the load is heavy, temperature-controlled, oversized or simply awkward, the equipment and the yard are already here. See what each service covers.

Hight supports Evertreen, which plants and tracks trees with local communities, and the Ocean Conservancy, which works on ocean biodiversity, climate solutions and plastic pollution.

Neither of these offsets a container move, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. They sit alongside the electric fleet rather than in place of it.
